In Zaragoza, our Learning Center plays a vital role in preparing the next generation of wind service technicians with the technical expertise, safety mindset, and confidence they need to succeed in the field.
We are looking for a Technical Trainer to join our team and help deliver high-quality technical and safety training for wind turbine service technicians. This is a hands-on, center-based role where you’ll bring complex concepts to life, support learner development, and contribute directly to the global energy transition.
What you’ll do
Deliver pre-developed theoretical and practical training on GE Vernova wind turbine platforms including 1.X, 2.X, 3.X, and Cypress
Lead engaging classroom sessions for both new and experienced technicians, adapting your style to different learning needs
Facilitate practical, hands-on exercises that build real-world technical confidence
Support trainees through VR-based learning modules, adding context and guidance throughout
Ensure all sessions are delivered in line with GE Vernova safety standards
Maintain a safe, professional training environment and verify correct PPE use
Adapt your approach to the experience level of each group and help bridge the gap between theory and field application
Support troubleshooting discussions across electrical and mechanical systems
Accurately document attendance, progress, and training outcomes
Work closely with the wider training team to keep daily operations running smoothly
Liaise with the Lab Technician to ensure tools, equipment, and the learning environment are ready
Occasionally travel to wind farm sites or international locations to support field training
What you’ll bring
Electrical certification or a degree in Electrical Engineering
Technical knowledge of wind turbines, ideally GE products
A strong sense of accountability and the ability to deliver results even in challenging situations
A genuine interest in knowledge sharing and developing others
Confident, engaging communication skills
Fluency in English and Spanish
Willingness to travel occasionally across Europe, around 15% of the time
Highly desirable
Driver’s license
Strong technical confidence and comfort using digital tools
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
High motivation to drive positive change
An adaptable, safety-conscious, and proactive mindset
Confidence working with modern learning technologies, including VR
