DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Team Leader to join our dynamic IT department in Europe. In this role you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our IT team in Europe. You will work closely with cross-functional teams ensure the efficient delivery of IT services and contribute to the strategic direction of our IT operations.

ACTIVITIES

Team Leadership

- Lead mentor and manage a team of IT professionals providing guidance support and coaching to promote individual and team growth.

- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment ensuring that team members are motivated and engaged in their roles.

IT Operations Management

- Oversee and manage IT operations within the European region ensuring the stability and reliability of IT systems and infrastructure.

- Monitor and optimize the performance of IT services to meet business needs and ensure minimal downtime.

Service Delivery

- Ensure the efficient delivery of IT services adhering to established service level agreements (SLAs) and performance standards.

- Drive continuous improvement in service quality and customer satisfaction.

Project Management

- Supervise and coordinate IT projects ensuring that they are completed on time and assure the transfer into operations.

- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

Vendor and Partner Management

- Collaborate with external IT service providers and vendors to manage relationships evaluate service quality and negotiate contracts.

- Ensure that third-party services align with organizational objectives.

Business Continuity

- Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans for the European region ensuring the availability of IT systems and services in the event of disruptions.

Performance Metrics

- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of IT operations making data-driven improvements as necessary.

PROFILE

- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science Information Technology) or equivalent work experience.

- Several years of experience in IT operations and leadership roles.

- Strong technical knowledge across various IT domains.

- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.

- Project management experience and relevant certifications (e.g. PMP) preferred.

- Knowledge of European data protection and privacy regulations.

- Familiarity with ITIL and other IT service management frameworks.

- Proficiency in English additional European languages a plus.

- Flexibility to travel within Europe as needed.
