As Supply Chain Business Analyst, you will be placed within our Supply Chain Planning organization, in the Central Planning Team in Barcelona. You will be reporting to the Analytics Team Leader in Barcelona.
The main tasks of the role are:
Support supply chain planning functions in achieving their targets on Inventory and Service metrics, by providing analytical insights (from technical to business standpoints)
Develop performance reports/dashboards by translating operational needs into reporting – be the intermediate between operational functions and data engineers (who will develop backend data structures to deliver the reports)
Contribute to the design of reports for leadership review and performance communication to business partners
Analyze main Inventory and Service drivers, identify issues, propose solutions and follow up with functions on resolution
Govern the tools and processes related to inventory and service
Contribute to the communication of performance to business partners
Present findings across the organization (from operational to strategic levels) to top management
Monitor process execution
Analyze and map current processes across Europe to identify gaps in the processes and tools, make proposal to close those gaps
Work with stakeholders to reassure processes are aligned and documented
Job requirements:
Experience in supply chain (preferably supply chain planning, supply chain analytics, inventory management, etc.): 1-3 years
Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Transportation or Analytics related field
Fluent in English
Analytical and reporting skills
Preferably already have experience in tools like Tableau or PowerBI
Use Microsoft Office, especially Excel confidently (complex formulas, pivoting is a minimum) as well as PowerPoint
Have a large interest towards database management is a plus
Experience with SAP (SAP APO, ERP), JDA, Toolsgroup, or other Information Systems/Data Warehouses is a plus
Knowledge of VBA or any other language is an advantage but not a requirement
Work well within a team in a multinational environment, ready to build good relationships and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of organization
Able to successfully manage your responsibilities, even if it means multitasking with limited oversight and low supervisory support
Basic knowledge and experience in material management is a plus
Having a self-developer’s mind set, and willingness to constantly learn is much more important than meeting all the above criteria
