For our European Strategy organization, focused but not limited to Thalheim Plant scope in Germany, we are looking for a Strategy Partner on Plant Operations Competitive Position for an immediate start. The position does not require reallocation but regular presence in the plant.

What You Will Do In Your Role

Identify/Originate ideas to improve competitive cost position given a known commercial & operational strategy
Partnering with Operations to proactively identify and deliver on our most profitable opportunities.
Supporting Operations teams through the Decision-making Framework on optimizing Capital utilization understanding the alternatives with focus on marginal analysis.
Support and influence on reducing the operating cost breakeven point for the plant, improving our Cost Position.
Connect Plant Management on the Return on the Capital Consumed and on the sensitivity of operations bets on it. Work together with Operations and other capabilities to ensure right profitability of the assets.
Proactively collaborate with other teams in the organization to advance opportunities in an agile, effective, and efficient way: Commercial Strategy, Network Profitability, Business analytics, Costing and Controlling Team, through the concept of cross-functional team working.
Utilize your unique abilities as a Subject Matter Expert to accelerate improvement on Key areas of the business by leveraging that knowledge globally.
Advance and accelerate our Transformation journey through the application of our Principled based management.
The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:
Business Administration, Engineering or Accounting educational background with strong strategic and partnering mindset
High conversational and written level of English
Preferable experience in a production plant with similar or operational responsibilities.
Ability to link actions to financial impact in the Profit & Loss Account, financials understanding and ability to interpret them
Excellent analytical capabilities, good sense for numbers and ability to manage data to solve the problem and identify opportunities.
Result oriented approach to work, collaborative mindset, open minded, and with willingness to achieve common goals.
Advanced level of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Honesty, integrity and entrepreneurship
Very organized and focused. Curious.
Strong communication skills
