WHAT YOULL DO

The Safety and Security Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and health of the companys employees, ensuring compliance with Health& Safety (HS) regulations, and collaborating in the achievement of the organizations strategic objectives. This professional will be responsible for planning and managing preventive activities, the preparation and management of HS documentation, as well as providing training and advice on prevention.

Responsibilities:
Understand the initial situation and legal requirements in HS, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
Develop and manage HS documentation in the company, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Collaborate in achieving strategic objectives alongside the head of the HS department.
Plan preventive activities in accordance with identified risks in the company.
Provide internal HS training and offer advice on prevention to employees.
Advise on protective measures and identified deficiencies, proposing effective solutions.
Coordinate business activities with contractors, managing access and uploading HS documentation to the appropriate platform.
Analyze risk assessments and propose corrective measures, ensuring the follow-up of their effectiveness.
Conduct safety inspections and investigations of workplace accidents, contributing to the continuous improvement of occupational safety.
Collaborate closely with the technician from the External Prevention Service in the implementation of preventive measures.
Perform administrative tasks and manage documentation associated with the HS department.
YOURE GOOD AT
Bachelors and Masters degrees in Occupational Health and Safety with three technical specializations.
1 to 4 years of experience performing duties as a Senior Technician in Occupational Health and Safety.
Proficient in both spoken and written English and Spanish.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Frequent use of Microsoft Word and Excel (Office).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and effectively manage projects.
Our business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. We are made up of executive and administrative (or case team) assistants, visual service artists, receptionists, facilities staff, and the team leaders and office coordinators who manage these operations and business management jobs.
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: $33-35k (depending on the profile)
Start Date: Immediate
Vacation: 23 business days/year for the first 2 years. 27 days starting from the third year. Policy to take 3 weeks of vacation in August.
Health/Dental and Life Insurance
Pension Plan: 5% of the salary
Annual Bonus: Depending on performance
Working Hours: 9 am to 6 pm throughout the year
