Description

Greenwich Academy is a small, friendly, well-established English Language Academy in Lugo, Galicia. We are recruiting experienced and enthusiastic EFL teachers for the academic year 2023 / 2024.

We are especially interested in imaginative and warm candidates who have experience working with young learners and very young learners from the age of 4 years. We also offer classes for older school age students and adults. The position is for a minimum of 18 hours contact teaching time with occasional extra hours required on an ad hoc basis depending on the time of year.

Our lessons focus on fun communication-based tasks and teacher responsibilities include:
Preparation and delivery of communicative English lessons
Class administration.
Attendance at team meetings.
Assistance with exam preparation.
Writing a termly report for each child.
Experience preparing students for the Cambridge English examinations essential.

We aim to foster a collaborative and fun working environment and we are looking for team players who enjoy sharing ideas and helping their colleagues
This position involves living and working in a small town (approx. 100,000). It is essential that candidates already have permission to work in the EU or an EU member state passport.
