• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience of web frameworks such as React, Angular and Lit Element.

• Experience leading a full stack software development team.

• Master’s degree or PhD, or equivalent practical experience in engineering, computer science, or other technical related field.

• Experience in cybersecurity, as most of the projects will help malware analysts.

The team lead for the VirusTotal Frontend team is in charge of leading all VirusTotal web services and managing the team of engineers. We are looking for a strong communicator, attention to detail and experienced engineer, with background in web development, specifically on web frameworks such as React, Angular and Lit Element. Cybersecurity background is not a hard requirement but recommended as most of the projects will help malware analysts in some format.

You will be working on a fast moving environment, on projects critical to VirusTotal's ecosystem. We need our engineers to be versatile and enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward to give an edge to the good guys.

• Develop technologies to promote the exchange of information and strengthen security on the Internet. Bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, machine learning, reversing, malware analysis, and threat hunting.
• Lead projects critical to VirusTotal ecosystem needs. Be versatile and enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.
• Lead a software development team to design, develop, test, deploy maintain, and improve software.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
