SANTANDER TECHNOLOGY & OPERATIONS is looking for a SCRUM MASTER,
based mainly in Málaga.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Scrum Master you will work in agile frameworks, workshops/events facilitation, teach and communicate with different organizational levels. You will need to be able to understand current organization (AS-IS) and act in transformational environment (TO-BE). You will encourage teams to improve performance and maturity, focusing on delivering value to the customer in a sustainable, iterative and collaborative way.
We need somebody like you to help us in different fronts:
Strongly serving and supporting the Product Owner and Development Team in their quest to do everything possible to delight customer. Educating the Product Owner to refining and managing the product backlog.
Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example. This person should personify Scrum and Agile
Guiding and Coaching the Scrum Team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
Guiding and Coaching both the Scrum Team and the Development team on how to get the most out of self organization. Guiding and Coaching both the Scrum Team and the Development team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment
Protecting the team from interruptions and external interferences, keeping the team focused within the context of the project vision and goals.
Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
Facilitating the effectiveness and continuous improvement of the process being followed by the team. Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution. Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
Working actively in the Guild of Scrum Masters.
Support agile transformation at team levels.
Facilitate the cooperation between roles of agile teams.
Act as a change agent to disseminate agile mindset, values and principles.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required qualifications
At least 3 years in the role of Scrum Master.
High knowledge in agile metrics.
Experience in banking projects (desirable in Santander).
Demonstrated experience with big data tools such as Hive, HDFS, Impala, S3, Databricks, Cloud, Azure,… With a high knowledge in the data lifecycle.
English speaking (minimum B2).
