Summary / Role Purpose

To reach our next-level growth target and support our customers digital transformation, Ansys strongly believes in the empowerment of a broader range of engineers and designers thanks to tailored solutions that will abstract the complexity of our native tools. This requires the development of modern and user-friendly web user interfaces.

As a member of a facilitators team, the Senior UI developer will help to create reusable components and templates that applications engineers can easily use to create vertical applications. He will also help implement the UX standards and supports the Ansys transition to the cloud.

Essential Functions

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
Minimum 3/5 years of working experience with web UI development using modern technical stack and JS frameworks
Proficiency in web common coding languages such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS
Demonstrated skills in writing, understanding, and presenting in fluent English
Preferred Qualifications and skills
Previous experience using NodeJS
Strong experience creating web applications front-end using Web UI Frameworks and libraries such as Angular, REACT or VueJS
Proficiency in the full software development cycle including unit/integration testing
Strong communication skills and the ability to draft and visually communicate UI design
Knowledge of Python
Previous experience working closely in a development environment with UX Designer.
Knowledge/experience of User-Centered Design practices
