JOB OVERVIEW

Within the Digital Platform CoE team, SAP Data Migration Developer will provide expertise in Managing Data Migration projects, SAP Data Service rules implementation, data quality checks and S/4 ABAP

JOB SUMMARY

SAP Data Migration Developer will be responsible to support the Data Migration projects, to make sure that SAP and Sanofi best practices will be followed by the implementation partner.

Will be responsible to create the Data Migration Plan, to take part in migration workshops, to review the data extraction rules, data transformation, data mapping and the load methods. To review the code implemented in SAP Data Service and in S/4 ABAP.

To orchestrate the interaction between the migration team and the business.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The main duties of the Digital SAP Data Migration Developer are:
Work across multiple projects to understand data usage and implications for data migration
Assist in designing, planning, and managing the migration process
Guide development on data migration objects (tool, code architecture, reusability, visibility, performance)
Prepare data migration plans
Manage assigned risks and monitor potential impacts as part of the data migration plan
Management of source to target data mapping
SAP Data Service code review and implementation: monitor development quality and performance done by Implementation partner
Review and help implementing any change required in the loading method: S/4 ABAP, Migration Cockpit or LSMW
Manage Data migration audit, reconciliation, and validation reporting
Use of automated testing tools for processing and validating large data migrations
Expertise in Extract, Transform, and Load technologies, designs, and approaches in S/4 HANA
REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Graduated from engineering, computer science, or Digital school, Master’s degree or equivalent
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
10+ years work experience on SAP Data migration, including similar technical management activities.
Experience in Migrating data from SAP ECC or non SAP DB to S/4 Hana.
Deep expertise on SAP Data Service (hands-on), SQL, ABAP, LSMW, SAP Migration Cockpit. Knowledge about other Migration methodologies it is a plus.
Experience working with IT service management tools (ServiceNow, Solman)
Experience in Project Management, involving Agile and Digital methodologies
Ability to manage multiple Data Migration projects in parallel.
At ease with Microsoft Office tools, and in general with IS tools.
