Offer Description
The Unit of Rare Neurodegenerative Diseases has an open research line that has a main goal to gain insight into the diagnosis and prognosis of the Wilson disease. To do this, the studies are focused in the characterization of the molecular bases of patients with Wilson disease and Wilson-like phenotypes, and in the identification of biomarkers (miRNAs and microbiome). The researcher will work in the project funded by the Foundation Per Amor a lArt (FPAA).
Basic requirements of the position:
Candidates must be a doctor in some branch related to health sciences (biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedicine, pharmacy).
High level of English, written and spoken.
Experience required:
Experience in cell biology and culture: immunochemistry, cell cultures, confocal microscopy, qPCR, etc.
Experience in model organisms for genetic studies.
Experience in the genetic analysis and in the interpretation of findings: NGS filtering, Sanger and massive sequencing, etc.
Merits: * Training:
Academic Qualifications.
Complementary Training: Master in Research in Molecular, Cellular and Genetic Biology.
Experience in cell biology and culture
Experience in hiPSCs.
Experience in genomic edition (CRISPR-Cas9).
Experience in genetic analysis.
