Research Associate - C&S (Climate & Sustainability)

WHAT YOULL DO

As a Research Associate within BCGs Data and Research Service (DRS) function, you will form an integral part of our European DRS team. Through the delivery of secondary research specialized in Climate & Sustainability topics across industries, you will contribute to BCGs client work and knowledge base by supporting proposals, client cases and business or internal development initiatives. You will clearly synthesize, package, articulate and deliver your findings in a timely and accurate manner and conduct research on multi-industry, climate, and sustainability topics, while delivering meaningful insights.

Excellent organization skills are essential for successfully managing a variety of research requests by accurately summarizing data and insights into appropriate and timely output via email, Excel, PowerPoint, or Word formats. Along with supporting research products and case work you will also contribute to knowledge capture and documentation.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Undergraduate degree minimum (a preference for a degree in business, environmental science/engineering, geographer, sustainability, or similar degrees)
Understanding (and interest) in climate & sustainability topics, including ESG
0-2 years relevant working experience; preferably in market research, consulting, or sustainability
Fluent in English & Spanish; another language is a plus

The Data and Research Services (DRS) is BCGs research center of expertise. We collaborate with our consulting teams to bring advanced research capabilities to support projects and client, enabling them with solution-oriented research and accelerated insight generation.

DRS works with both qualitative and quantitative data, conducting research and providing synthesized results from over 100 commercial sources, publicly available data, company and industry research, macro-economic, commodities and trade data.
