What will you do?
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Hotel Regional Projects Deputy Senior Director (Architect/Engineer) to oversee and manage a portfolio of hotel construction and renovation projects across a designated region. This role involves leading project teams, ensuring adherence to design standards, budget, and schedule, and acting as a key technical liaison within the Company
Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage the full lifecycle of hotel construction, renovation, and maintenance projects within the assigned region, from conceptualization to completion.
Develop and implement project plans, including scope definition, budget allocation, resource management, and timeline development.
Supervise and mentor project managers, architects, engineers, and other project team members.
Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, regulations, company standards, and brand guidelines.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, quality control, and adherence to specifications.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track.
Manage relationships with external contractors, vendors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
Review and approve architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.
Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, finance, purchasing) to ensure seamless project integration.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management methodologies and best practices within the company. Requisitos: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Master's degree and/or PMP certification is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in project management within the hospitality construction or real estate development sector, with a strong focus on hotel projects.
Proven experience in a senior leadership or deputy director role managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Extensive knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methodologies, building systems, and relevant regulations.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets, negotiate contracts, and control project costs.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software and CAD software.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.
