Funciones: - Assist the Project Director in the running of the project.
- Advise on the sufficiency of the design and information supplied and identify any outstanding or conflicting design issues.
- Liaise with all disciplines Managers/Site Team leaders to ensure effective communication on project matters.
- Develop and implement procedures for planning, managing, supervising construction works, and controlling Project costs.
- Review & approval of technical documents submitted to the Client by the Contractors.
- Monitoring overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective actions where necessary.
- Monitoring the Project deliverables meet with the agreed standards and satisfy stakeholder requirements at each stage of the project.
- Monitoring overall project stakeholder relationships and adjusting strategies and plans for engaging stakeholders.
- Applying change control and configuration management processes.
- Reporting through agreed lines on project progress through highlight reports and end- stage assessments.
- Maintaining an awareness of potential interdependencies with other projects and their impact.
- Contribute to the resolution of technical issues during the lifecycle of the project.
- Take a proactive role in stablishing, assessing, and evaluating project management processes, sharing knowledge, identifying opportunities and providing advice to help improve processes and procedures.
- Apply analytical and project management skills as well as technical writing skills at a task level. Requisitos: - Master's degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, engineering management or related field preferred, membership of chartered institution.
- Professional Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) , PRINCE2 or related certification.
- Years of Experience: over 20 years; and as Project Manager over 15 years.
- Proved experience in supervising the construction of complex projects, mainly as a Consultant. Candidates with exclusive contractors experience will not be taken into consideration.
- At least experience in 1 or more projects of ROADS. Candidates without clear ROAD experience will not be taken into consideration.
- Advanced level of English language. Basic Knowledge of Arabic Language is a plus.
- Report writing skills, social skills, communication, teamwork, problem solving, autonomy, flexibility, and technical rigor.
- Willingness to work in a multinational environment firm.
