For our Project & Construction team within the Division International, we are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Project Manager. The Project Manager will manage our renewable energy projects (incl. wind onshore, PV, hydrogen) in various European countries, assuming responsibility for the entire project management from contract negotiation to close-out.
The Project Manager can be based in Madrid or Milano.
Your Responsibilities:
Taking the ownership of the project over the period from development to COD, assess the issues and constraints, ensure the technical and organizational feasibility of the project.
Guaranteeing the implementation and respect of the HSE rules in all stages of the project.
Developing and delivering a project plan for the construction and operation of renewable power generation facilities.
Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
Coordinating with internal project management teams, external contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Identifying and mitigating all potential project risks to keep the project on time and on budget.
Collaborating with other team members to identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and process improvements.
Conducting frequent inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure work is completed to the required standards.
Developing relationships with key stakeholders and community members to facilitate effective communication and partnership during the project.
Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and permits.
Maintaining project documentation and keeping stakeholders informed of project progress.
Managing and reporting on project performance, including project costs, schedules, and quality metrics.
Supporting hand-over to asset management team at the COD
Your Profile:
Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
At least 5 years of project management experience in the renewable energy sector.
Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, such as solar, wind, or hydro.
Experience managing large and complex projects with budgets of $10 million or more.
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate and manage teams.
Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
Experience with project management software tools and applications.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines.
Experience with environmental permitting and compliance.
Understanding of financial and accounting principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English, additional knowledge of Spanish and/or Italian is an asset
