The Procurement department of RWE Offshore Wind GmbH is responsible for all direct requirements of the renewable business and all indirect requirements of the RWE Group in the procurement of services and materials.

The internationally oriented maintenance and further development of the procurement-specific regulations and templates is an important component for the further development, automation and digitalisation of the procurement processes for the RWE Group.

As a Procurement Manager in the Directives and Compliance team, you will help to ensure that Procurement operates efficiently, effectively and compliantly, with a focus on the UK and Europe.

Your future plans
Monitor and identify significant changes to relevant laws and regulations as well as internal group requirements and ensure that these changes are implemented in RWE regulations, contract templates and other purchasing related templates.
Supporting the Group-wide and cross-border harmonisation of contract templates.
This includes the appropriate use of contract templates and other relevant templates in the procurement process
Effectively communicate and deliver relevant training to operational procurement teams
Establishing and maintaining a stable network with operational procurement teams and procurement stakeholders such as legal, compliance, data protection, information security, sustainability and other departments
Participation in projects for the further development of purchasing in the group
Your profile
University degree in business administration, commercial law or comparable educational background
High affinity with guidelines, regulations, contract-relevant templates
Initial knowledge and experience in various compliance topics
High level of teamwork and strong interpersonal and communication skills
Fluency in written and spoken English. German and other languages are an advantage
Experience in the renewable energy sector is an advantage
Strong methodical and analytical skills
Flexibility and willingness to travel
