Predoctoral position at UIC Barcelona

Offer Description

Purpose: A place is offered to carry out the masters internship and/or the doctoral thesis in the research group of Dr. Clotet at UIC Barcelona ( - cell-biology/). During this period, the candidate will develop his masters project/thesis along the lines of "Role of polyphosphate in human cells" with the possibility of teaching at the university (internships for the first years of Degrees in Health Sciences).

Contract description: four-year contract (expandable up to five depending on the evolution of the results).

Requirements:
Graduated in a discipline related to biological sciences (biology, biomedicine, biochemistry...).
High motivation to develop a research project.
High capacity for organization and work.
Aspects to assess: during the selection process, the following aspects will be taken into account in this order: a) contribution of letters of recommendation that certify good work in the laboratory, b) scientific publications, c) level of English, d) note degree cut-off e) other aspects that the candidate considers relevant (for example: knowledge of bioinformatics, knowledge of a specific analytical technique, etc.). It is recommended that, apart from attaching the CV, candidates attach a brief cover letter specifying the five sections mentioned.
