Polish SAP Payroll Manager

Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced Polish Payroll Manager to join the Employee Managed Service (EMS) team in Spain.

As a Payroll Manager in the EMS bureau team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the payroll operations of our Polish clients. Your expertise in Polish payroll regulations, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills will be essential to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing. Knowledge of other European payrolls is desirable.

You will be expected to maintain confidentiality at all times, comply with data protection (GDPR) legislation, carry out any reasonable duties as requested by line management and act as the key contact for your payroll clients, ensuring continuous improvement in the process.

Tasks
Manage end-to-end SAP payroll processing for Polish clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Stay updated on Polish payroll legislation, tax regulations, and employment laws to ensure compliance in all payroll-related matters.
Prepare and submit required payroll reports and declarations to relevant government agencies within specified deadlines
Review and process payroll data, including salaries, benefits, deductions, and bonuses, while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
Oversee employee inquiries and provide timely and accurate responses regarding payroll-related matters.
Assist in the implementation or enhancement of payroll systems, processes, and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Developing and implementing payroll policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
Data integrity and accuracy in SAP payroll systems, implementing appropriate audit controls and ensuring these are consistently followed.
Documenting payroll processes, identifying and driving standardization and continuous improvement across our Polish payrolls.
Staying up to date with changes in local laws and regulations that affect payroll operations.
Managing the tax year end reporting,
Assist with payroll-related audits and provide necessary documentation and information as needed.
Requirements
Educated to degree level or hold a Payroll related qualification.
Extensive experience in Polish payroll management, including a strong understanding of Polish payroll regulations, tax laws, and labour laws.
Proficiency in using payroll software and systems.
High level of attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple demands with a clear sense of prioritisation.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in payroll management.
Polish language and a strong grasp of English language
