Overview of the Job
Partnerships Coordination Management of THALES EURAM Regional Company (the “Regional Company”). THALES EURAM is in charge of the EUROPE DGDI, EURASIA DGDI and LATAM DGDI regions (the “Regions”).
Location
The Job Holder will be based on a full time basis within the Regional Hub of the Regional Company premises located in Madrid (Spain). The Job Holder may travel from time to time in countries / regions within the scope of the Regional Hub.

Ø Thales International organization’s mission in the Regions is to support and develop growth of Thales Group’s presence in all the countries of these Regions for all activities : aerospace, transport, space, defence ; security and identity domains.
Ø Indeed the Thales International organization contributes to the evolution of the Thales Group local footprint as well as of its way of working, in line with Ambition 10, in order to take into consideration the evolutions of its environment, new laws & regulations and the best ethical and governance practices.
Ø Regional business activities are driven by a dynamic demand characterized by a sharp competition and growing customers’ requirements in terms of quality, systems products and services sophistication, delivery time and prices, industrial cooperation and financing schemes in a compliant environment. Customers, in the private and public sectors, are much diversified depending upon the domains and their respective business models.
Ø In this context, Thales International asserts its presence by teaming up with local entities acting as in-country contractors and system integrators supporting Thales Operational Units’ initiatives for exporting their solutions to customers in the Regions.
Ø Business activities are conducted through the local presence of dedicated Thales organization (representative offices, branches, subsidiaries, JVs…) as well as local Key Industrial Partners (KIP) and with the support of Business Advisers (BA).
Ø The Job Holder will bring a strong support in the development and management of this regional business organization, implying close day-to-day relationships with senior management.
Job description
Ø The Job Holder will closely cooperate in particular with: Country Directors, the BA/KIP Directors, Heads of Regions, the Legal Director, the Industrial Operations Director, the CFO the COO, the CCO of the Regional Company and the Operational Units stakeholders.
Ø The Job Holder will manage the completion of the KIP and BA files under the supervision of the BA/KIP Directors of the Regional Company from the preparation of the Due Diligence Form and up to the validation of the qualification.
Ø In addition to the day-to-day relationships with the local partners, He/She will ensure the regular quality control of the KIP / BA files, the preparation and follow-up of the Risk Factors clearance action plans and the update of the KIP/BA Dashboard.
Ø He/She will participate with the BA/KIP Directors to the periodical meetings organized with the Country Directors and the Operational Units for updating.
Ø He/She will support the Industrial Operations Director of Thales EURAM in his responsibility for the KIP selection within a project; including the Justification and Partnership Memos in coordination with the Country Directors, the BA/KIP Directors and the Thales Group Operating Units & Corporate.
Ø He/She will organize the evaluation of the KIP/BA portfolios and related activities in coordination with the CDs, the BA/KIP Directors, the Industrial Operations Director and the Operating Units.
Ø He/She will ensure the completion of the services listed in the annual agreements signed in between Thales EURAM and the Operating Units involved.
Ø He/She will manage the EDD process for KIP, BA candidates and Third Parties in coordination with the Legal Director. Also He/She will update quarterly the CFO and the Legal Director to ensure compliance of yearly budget.
Ø Finally, the Job Holder will participate to the reinforcement of governance and compliance within the Regional Company and related Regions, where necessary, as regard to the quality and relevance of the KIP and BA process management.

The Job Holder will report to the COO (Chief Operating Officer) of Thales EURAM
Background
Ø The Job Holder should preferably hold a Master degree in business school or in marketing as well as a first successful professional experience in an international environment.
Ø He/She will have a good command of English language and Spanish (oral and writing).
Ø He/She should be autonomous, rigorous, self-confident, "teamwork capable", pro-active, adaptable, multi-tasked, and have interest for his/her professional environment, the local cultures and traditions.
Ø The Job Holder should have yearning for legal and financial aspects in order to mobilise internal stakeholders towards common objectives.
Ø Good knowledge of Thales’ environment, culture, and processes is a plus.
