We are looking for a Key Account Manager based in Madrid.

Your Team
You will be one of the most senior business development representatives for the Ibero region, working closely with Heads of Lines of Business (LOB) and Executive Leadership to formulate and execute large corporate client and broker distribution strategies within the region.

The Impact You Will Have
Based in Madrid and reporting directly to the Regional Head of Distribution in Iberia you will identify key and growth accounts, spearheading a sales culture across the organisation and acting as a primary interface with other Allianz Operating Entities

Some of your specific responsibilities could include
Building and implementing Strategic Account Plans for our corporate clients, growing relationships with our key brokers
Developing a balanced pipeline with target clients to fulfill profitability and growth targets
Engaging and coordinating with Marketing to tailor specific business requirements for market presence and brand awareness
Act as a thought leader, including the development of appropriate training regarding the Sales culture, and mentoring more junior colleagues
Communicating wins across the organization regionally and globally with a consistent process
Generating trust and credibility with key people at our managed clients, acting as the solution provider and trusted advisor
Initiating remedial action where necessary, eg. large claims and multinational solutions
Ensuring data integrity in Salesforce.com
Contributing towards broker relationship mapping to increase Allianz Commercial profile and promote our company as the preferred insurer amongst key broker partners
Leveraging the internal executive network to solidify client relationships at the executive level;
Collaborating with Industry Solution Directors to provide proactive and creative solutions for clients within target industries
What Youll Bring to the Role
We are looking for an experienced Corporate and/ or Specialty P&C Insurance professional (ideally 10 years), who has driven profitable business in Underwriting, Distribution or Brokering.
You have a successful track record of prospecting new clients in the specialty insurance segment in Spain
Experience working in an international organization, with exposure to multinational insurance programs
You have compelling communication skills, able to express thoughts clearly and to influence others; in both Spanish and English
Demonstrable experience of fostering long term, profitable relationships at senior level in broker and client organizations
Ability to translate the clients needs into risk solutions, and to develop compelling value propositions
