Job Description
AECOM Buildings and Places Spain is a dynamic, multidisciplinary practice driven by innovation and collaboration. We integrate sustainable solutions into everything we do and approach every project with a high-performance design strategy.
Our team, as part of the continued growth of our business, is looking for a Junior Architect to support the plan, and who is looking to further develop his/her career, gaining experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects. These projects span a diverse range of construction sectors including among others, Transportation, Healthcare, Hospitality, Aviation, Workplace, Logistics and Defense.
As a Junior Architect you will join a highly motivated and proactive team, with multidisciplinary projects delivered across several geographies, with the potential to grow and thrive. The selected candidate will get an overview of the complete project life cycle, from early proposal stages, throughout the project planning, set up and execution, up to project closure.
Under the direct supervision of an Architect or Project Lead, the successful candidate will contribute to the team with the following tasks:
Assist with creating and developing designs, functional layouts, diagrams, and presentation materials based on complex programming requirements.
Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team (engineering, urban design, and others) to support the design and construction of a variety of international and national projects.
Developing from concept design to construction documents.
Assist the Senior team members with other tasks including updating logs and checklists.

Minimum Requirements :
Architecture Masters Degree
Around 3 years of experience
Proficiency in BIM environment and Autodesk Revit
Proven experience with other design software (Autocad, Photoshop, Rhinoceros,etc.)
Well organized with the ability to manage time and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English, other languages will be a plus
Highly motivated with the ability to work independently within a collaborative team.
Proactive and detail oriented
Creative and collaborative with a passion for designing and detailing
