WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As an IT Storage Specialist your mission will be helping to build solutions to expand our Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure and our OnPrem infrastructure. Your responsibilities will be providing design input, support and collaborate with the rest of areas and analysts on project milestones, analyzing weaknesses, recommending and implementing system improvements.You will be part of a talented team that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security. Qualified systems technicians will have a background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis.
We need somebody like you to help us in different fronts:
Expertise in design Storage architectures.-Identify possible weakness and solutions including automation opportunities.
Participate in the design of operational support procedures and systems.
Participate in Storage IT product services like problem management, capacity management and new services implementation.
Participate in security, backup, and redundancy strategies-Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
EXPERIENCE
5+ years’ experience as Storage Specialist with main focus in SAN, Block and File management, Object Storage, Cloud and troubleshooting.
EDUCATION
Education System Engineering or other relevant IT degree.
SKILLS
Proven working experience managing Storage environments (such as Dell EMC, PureStorage, NetApp, Hitachi, IBM and S3 Object Storage).
Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, SAN).
Experience managing processes in Data Centers.
Spoken and written English.
Desirable skills: Cloud architectures (vCloud, Azure/AWS) and Automation (Selenium, Ansible, Phyton).
