Business area
The R&D Digital Health Innovative Recruitment team enables better patient and healthcare professional experiences by delivering customer centric digital solutions for clinical trials and real-world healthcare. The focus of this role is to work with platform owners, global study teams and TAs, plus vendors in order to lead project management efforts in the development and delivery of the Enterprise Platform for Clinical Trials, as well as support digital governance activities, especially around the use of personal data and associated global and local privacy regulations.
The role holder will also work as a member of the R&D Digital Health Innovative Recruitment team to ensure that the delivery of the Enterprise platform is clearly tracked and reported on across all key stakeholders.
What you will do:
Work closely with the Innovative Recruitment team, in-house product teams, study teams and vendors to manage the development and delivery of the Enterprise Platform for Clinical Trial Recruitment
Drive Agile ways of working throughout development, operating in Sprint cycles (where appropriate) and leading associated Scrum processes (kick-offs, stand-ups, retrospectives, etc…), working alongside Innovative Recruitment Product Directors
Work extensively with development teams & vendors to ensure platform requirements are clearly understood and ultimately delivered to the required quality
Work with local compliance, legal and privacy teams to ensure adherence to local law and gain relevant approvals
Lead in comprehensive platform QA/testing throughout development, identifying bugs whilst validating functionality and performance. Manage reporting of issues/gaps and track through to resolution
Throughout development, conduct project management activities including reporting on progress against project plan and tracking milestones
Drive digital governance across the platform, working with key stakeholders from Privacy, Compliance and IT to deliver Privacy Impact Assessments, Transfer Impact Assessments, Risk Impact Determinations and other key governance processes
Create clear understanding for all stakeholders of ongoing opportunities and risks during platform development, escalating when required
Work with Platform leads on budget, resourcing and timelines statuses
Be an active member of the R&D Digital Health Innovative Recruitment team developing an industry leading R&D Digital organization
Grow and maintain internal and external relationships, connecting the needs of key customers including TA, patients, health care providers and technology partners
Essential Requirements :
Bachelor degree in a scientific, marketing or technology based subject area
Experience of delivering digital project management in healthcare at an agency or pharma company
Experience in working with digital products and demonstrative knowledge of the product lifecycle
Experience of managing Digital Governance processes, including data privacy
Understanding/experience of Agile (Scrum) Methodology, including leading associated Scrum Ceremonies
Ability to lead and influence strategically and persuade thoughtfully, to obtain desired outcomes while maintaining effective, positive, organizational relationships
Ability to challenge the status quo, take ownership and holds self and others accountable
Ability to prioritise tasks and workload effectively, highlighting any risks and issues in a timely manner
Ability to work autonomously whilst managing remote teams globally
Passion for Patients and Customers, representing the needs of multiple customers in decision making
Preferred Requirements:
A solid understanding of the drug development processes and the impact technology can have on these processes
Experience of governance processes when working with Patient/HCP personal data
SCRUM (or equivalent) Agile certification
Project Management certification (E.g. PRINCE2 / PMI)
Experience of operating in a Product Owner/Management role
