Job Description

The HR Manager will be responsible to manage the core HR team and will provide strategic HR and ER support to the business with a strong focus on employee relations, engagement, and retention, as well as operational HR for our new studio in Madrid.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as an advisor to all HR teams in employee relations
  • Build strong partnerships with business leaders to offer thought leadership on organisational and people-related strategy and execution
  • Design, implement and supervise employment-related policies
  • Provide expertise in the following areas: Organisational Design, Data Analysis, Compensation and Rewards, Employee Relations, Recognition Programs, Employee Engagement, Recruitment
  • Oversee HR Administration activities
  • Work closely with People & HR Excellence teams
  • Provide managers with tools & guidelines on how to better interact with their teams
  • Proactively support the delivery of HR Processes at the stakeholders' side
  • Manage complex HR Projects cross-functionally
  • Oversee recruitment alongside the TA Manager upon need as well as recruit key talent
  • Refine, monitor, and analyse the process of exit interviews/build a relevant retention strategy
  • Track key metrics to drive continuous improvements regarding decisions and the quality of work
  • Actively identify gaps, propose and implement changes necessary to cover risks
  • Develop and control the budget together with the regional Head of HR
  • Use and request data strategically. Identify the trends in both qualitative and quantitative data to help improve organizational climate, understand when data will assist in making smart, informed decisions, interpret complex analyses and tie analyses back to business priorities
  • Proactively provide new, creative solutions to business challenges - while also building on existing processes and methods
  • Leads and/or supports annual HR cycle deliverables to include roundtables, performance management, individual development planning, annual merit and, bonus processes and benefits
  • Leads and/or participates in driving innovation and continuous HR process improvement initiatives and/or cross-functional/cross-location special projects across the network
  • Analyses trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions, programs, and policies
Qualifications
  • Strong local employment law knowledge is a must
  • Proven experience as a HR Manager with broad leadership experience in a fast paced, rapid growth organisation
  • Experience from building up HR operations in a combination of start-up and mature environment
  • Analytical thinking demonstrated by the ability to solve problems using a logical, systematic, and sequential approach to professionally handle employee concerns
  • Ability to understand and translate data and trends and develop and operationalise plans that influence changes
  • Outstanding relationship builder with strong collaboration skills with proven ability to build and maintain partnerships and solid working relationships with management and employees
  • Strong communication skills in both English & Spanish (Spoken and Written) is essential.
  • Effective communication skills with customer focus and strong influencing skills
  • The ability to operate successfully in a high volume and fast-paced environment unaided, embrace change and balance competing and opposing priorities
  • Demonstrated knowledge and use of continuous improvement tools and processes
  • Proven strategic thinker and skilled at solving complex business problems
  • Confidence and strong personal presence - you shake up the status quo, while gaining the respect of both peers and senior management
  • Experience with talent management, retention, rewards - as well as a general familiarity and curiosity for a wide range of HR policies, practices, and trends
  • Experience using HRIS platforms is a must
