Job Description
As a Specialist in Occupational Risk Prevention, you will have the opportunity to use your skills and experience to support the development of the Companys Health & Safety role at the Madrid Offices. Working in close collaboration with the different Human Resource Areas, you will be responsible for achieving objectives by complying with the Occupational Risk Prevention regulations and, in addition, contributing to the implementation of measures that promote the well-being of employees.
Main Responsibilities
Know and comply with the legislation on Health and Safety at work, as well as its compilation and updating.
Implement any legal regulations on prevention and the criteria for standardization and quality control of means and protective equipment.
Strong knowledge on the local H&S regulations.
Application of the Companys Own Health & Safety Service, creating the service and supporting the other areas in the implementation.
Develop and lead all evacuation drill plans including inspection on fire safety.
Preparation of Emergency Plan and keeping it updated as required.
Carry out risk assessments whose development requires the establishment of a measurement strategy to ensure that the results obtained effectively reflect the situation being assessed, or a non-mechanical interpretation or application of the evaluation criteria.
Own, establish and maintain a Health and Safety Committee along with appropriate briefing.
Assessment and adaptation of the workplace for those who require assistance -vulnerable groups.
Coordinate the employees medical exams.
Obtain and report the KPI companys accident rate data and implement a work investigation and report procedure policy.
Maintain contact and coordinate with the External Health & Safety Provider and Mutua.
Coordinate with the Employee Relations team, to carry out regular H&S Inspections.
Initiate and develop a Program in the company to promote wellbeing of employees.
Ability to create informative presentations and any other communication material required to further promote H&S policies and best practices to newcomers and current employees.
Lead the creation of H&S policies for local studio and offices
Employee training activities and information activities.
Collaborate in meeting the objectives of your area and schedule actions related to prevention.
Qualifications
University Degree within a related field
Preferably certified in courses such as NEBOSH - International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent certification.
Preferably a valid certificate in basic first aid practices.
Three years of Experience in the Occupational Health and Safety field
Ability to work alongside consultants or any related external supplier or provider
Approachable and understanding, with strong communication skills in both English and Spanish (both verbal and written).
General knowledge of labor law is a must.
Ability to think about a general picture and come up with innovative ideas to well-being.
Ability to make good judgements and take quick decisions during dedicated situations.
