British Council Pay band 9
Salary: Starting at €80,000.00 but can go up to €97,000.00 depending on skills and experience.

Role Overview:
The Head of People Solutions leads a team to provide advisory and operational services within designated hubs, ensuring excellence in service delivery. They possess deep knowledge of local markets and legal contexts, driving effective people processes through a mix of internal capabilities and outsourced services.
Role Context:
Enable business leaders to make informed decisions within policy and process frameworks.
Ensure compliance with local legislation and meaningful interpretation of global policy to local contexts.
Develop organizational capability in people management through advisory services and continuous improvement in operations.
Main Accountabilities:
Leadership & Management: Lead and manage a team to deliver people services, manage capacity, and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
Strategy & Planning: Contribute to the development and lead the delivery of the annual global plan for People Solutions.
Relationship & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with senior internal stakeholders, People Business Partners, and the Managed Service Provider.
Commercial & Financial Management: Manage the operational budget and review performance against KPIs.
Service Improvement: Lead the development and delivery of a continuous improvement plan for the hub.
Subject Expertise: Represent the People function in regional operations matters and be the ultimate escalation point for People issues within the regions.
Person Specification:
Core Competencies: Communicating & influencing, Managing people, Planning & organising, Analysing data & problems, Finance & resource management, Managing risk.
Role-Specific Skills: Business acumen, Data literacy, People advocacy, Execution excellence.
Role-Specific Knowledge and Experience: People operations, Experience leading geographically dispersed teams, Working with and influencing senior business stakeholders, Knowledge of core HR policies & processes, Experience working within centralised business services function (desirable).
Language Requirements: Proficiency in English (CEF 1) is required.
This role requires leadership in delivering HR services, managing stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across geographies.
