Frontend Software Developer (f/m/d)

Straumann Group is a global leader in dental implants and orthodontic solutions, and we are looking for a talented front-end software developer to join our team. As part of a growing team of specialists, you will be part of a team of engineers developing software tools for dental professionals and patients, including dentists, surgeons, and dental technicians.
As a front-end software developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining web applications. You will collaborate with UX/UI designers and back-end developers to improve customer experience as well as to test and debug web user interfaces to ensure high-quality solutions. You will be part of an agile team that values collaboration and creativity, and you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment for a product-based company.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
As a front-end software developer, you will:
Develop web based interfaces
Build front-end applications through appealing visual design
Develop and manage designs and all interface components
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Write technical documentation
Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solution
Find opportunities for collaboration across international teams, work on cross-team commitments, and achieve scale by enabling the work of others.
Requirements
Education
Higher education in software engineering, computer science or a comparable field (e.g. medical informatics, healthcare electronics), or equivalent work experience.
Experience
4+ years of experience shipping commercial software
Expert in core web technologies such as React 16+ and TypeScript
Experience on code management (Git, npm, webpack), releases, code quality
Extensive experience of design, hands on development, and deployment of application software
Excellent verbal & written skills to interact with peers, business partners & customers
Knowledge on Continuous Integration & Delivery of applications
Familiar with Test Automation and performance metrics measurement tools
Desirable:
Use of design tools such as Figma
Experience with healthcare software
Professional fluency in English
