What Youll Do

As a Front-End Developer within SAP Learning Systems, you will work with an amazing team of highly talented engineers, designers, and product managers to transform the way the entire SAP ecosystem learns, upskills and how our customers and partners are enabled on our solutions.

You will work in a cross-functional development team responsible for the design, coding, testing and quality assurance of specific product features.

You will collaborate with user experience experts to implement proposed designs of specific features, as well as troubleshoot and solve issues in new and existing code.

Our Front-End Developers use the latest design standards to excite and delight our SAP Learning customers and ensure UI/UX accessibility for all.

Working under the Scaled Agile Framework, our team plan our roadmap in quarterly Program Increments which break down into 4 iterations or sprints with a triweekly feature release cycle. We also run technical releases either side of the feature release meaning we regularly release on a weekly basis. This high speed, dynamic environment requires agility, diligence and a strong self-motivation and accountability to deliver on our commitments.

Responsibilities include:
Refinement of feature definitions and user stories ensuring solutions are technically feasible, secure, scalable and fitting the design system.
Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize time from conception to customer value.
Write and maintain robust, secure performant and maintainable code using modern UI frameworks and tools, including React & Typescript
Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to help refine approaches for new features.
Provide feedback to solution architecture team for future architectural vision & guardrails.
What You Bring

We are looking for Front End Developers with a deep knowledge of Web Component technologies and UI Frameworks primarily React. Angular, Vue and UI5 are also of interest. You will require experience in working with SSG and SSR Frameworks like Next.js and Gatsby and experience in consuming and integrating with ODATA and REST APIs.

You will have exposure to the full agile development lifecycle and knowledge of containerization and cloud technologies like Docker or Cloud Foundry Build packs. Successful applicants will have proven experience with site performance and security optimization while knowledge of SAP BTP, UI5 and GraphQL are a plus.
