You will lead technical definition and design of FPGAs for satellite-based units that position and connect anyone and anything, everywhere, help observing our planet and optimizing the use of our planets resources and even to spacecraft to discover the universe!
You will lead FPGA developments in VHDL for space applications processing units:
Architecture definition
Design
Verification
Support to Validation
Documentation
The activity is involved in a multidisciplinary team, with opportunity to participate in international engineering teams.
Education & Qualification:
Master degree in industrial engineering, aerospace engineering, telecommunication engineering, software engineering, physics, mathematics or other similar technical discipline.
We are looking for a candidate with:
At least 7 years of experience, 3 of them in space sector
Synchronous VHDL design.
Understanding of technical requirements and definition of technical solutions.
VHDL/Verilog simulation (pre-synthesis & post-layout verification).
Design synthesis and implementation/place and route
Support to Design validation
Preparation of design documentation
Design Reviews with customer
Skills:
VHDL, Verilog and System Verilog
Simulation with ModelSim/Questa Core
Synthesis with Synplify/Vivado
Implementation/place and route with Vivado/Libero
Version control (e.g. Git)
Languages:
Fluent English
Skills to make the difference:
MATLAB/Simulink, C programming experience, Python, Pearl
Knowledge of microprocessors development environment
Knowledge of Data Processing
