WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

PagoNxt Merchant is looking for a FINANCE SPECIALIST based in our MADRID office.

In order to achieve these goal, PagoNxt is organized in three different business:

Merchant Solutions, for merchants and acquirers.

Trade Solutions, for corporates and SMEs.

Consumer Solutions, digital products and services for individuals.

This role will be part of our PagoNxt Merchant Solutions team and will be responsible for building a global, open merchant payment platform and consolidate Santander as an acquiring world leader.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Finance Specialist you will lead information management for Finance team in PagoNxt Merchant. You will be focus on profitability analysis for month end closing, forecast, Budget and Strategic Planning mainly driven by different dimensions like channel, segment and products. Capital allocation and sensibility analysis.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

FP&A of PagoNxt Merchant Global Business including the design and maintenance of financial systems to promote accountability and business insights. Valuable data visualization, bringing new insights for management actions, process optimizations and forecasting base on predictive learning applications. Project oriented view is needed to develop these insights. Focus on different information stages like actuals, forecasts, budget and strategic Planning.

Leading a project to create visibility into P&L per Product/Service in order to provide further guidance to the management to proper allocate capital and resources.

Create Commercial Dashboard to follow up tendencies and create insights.

Ad hoc finance transformation activity such as Planning Tool, Information Management Systems, integration within Global Platform using top-notch technology such as Spark, Python, etc…

Internal stakeholders:

PagoNxt Merchant: CEO, Legal, Risk & Compliance, Business Development, Product & Business Support, COO

PagoNxt Merchant subsidiaries: PagoNxt Merchant subsidiaries CFO´s Finance Teams and Product Value teams.

PagoNxt Holco: CFO, Governance & Planning and Risk

Other Santander units: Cost, Finance, Management Control, Corporate Development

External stakeholders: External consultancy,audits,competitors, etc.

EXPERIENCE

6-7 years of experience working in processor or PSP payment companies.

EDUCATION

Bachelor´s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance. MBA desirable.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Finance Business partner oriented and Data driven professional who is passionate about digital transformation and payments with result –driven focus.

Creative problem solver analytical and financial perspective.

Ability to effectively work with global and local teams in a collaborative, multicultural and cross-functional environment.

Identifying best practices and help countries ´connect the dots´ to learn from one another.

Communicate clearly, adapting style to audiences ranging from engineering teams, control functions, business areas and senior leaders.

Ability to effectively, and independently, manage multiple competing priorities with high attention to detail.

Language skills - proficient in English.

Desired

Exposure to fintech environments.

Agile Methodology, Lean Start –up and Scrum experience is desired
