Remote working with occasional travel (London & Madrid)

What youll be doing:

DevOps engineers streamline the software development lifecycle to improve developer productivity, delivery speed, and code quality. They work closely with development, operations, and security teams to identify and resolve pain points and inefficiencies in delivery workflows.

Most of your work will be in automating infrastructure and cloud related processes and simplifying the CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, you will be busy ensuring that we collect the right logs and metrics from our platform and generate dashboards to give required insight into performance and health of the platform. Also, you will design and maintain the alerts required to ensure we are always on top of events and can react in good time.

The following experience would be really useful to have:
Strong collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team.
Experience developing CI/CD workflows and tools like Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitLab
Proficiency in one or more coding languages, e.g. JavaScript, Python, Java, NodeJS.
Experience with development platforms like AWS Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes.
AWS cloud qualified (AWS systems engineer or solutions architect) - not essential
Strong automation scripting skills.
Experience in configuration management, test-driven development and release management.
Experience using Linux OS and command line tools (aws cli, bash)
Python and bash scripting
Understanding and experience working with AWS services such as database services (dynamo, RDBMS), cognito, IAM, codecommit/pipeline, S3, cloudfront, cloudwatch, lambda, ECS or similar
Excellent troubleshooting skills and temperament
Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and in particular AWS cloud formation (essential) and DataDog (desirable).
Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles, and experience working with agile teams
