About you

We are growing our Computational Linguistics team for several languages to work on a cutting-edge Personal Voice Assistant software used by millions of users worldwide, with one of our major clients. We are looking for someone with native knowledge of Czech, Hungarian, Croatian, Polish, Slovak, Romanian or Ukranian.

In this temporary project you will be responsible for pioneering Voice Recognition for your native language for a Voice Assistant, connecting humans and machines through seamless voice interaction.

About your day-to-day:
Iterate on data to improve accuracy of complex NLP models.
Provide input and suggestions towards innovating new approaches and new product features tailored to your home market.
Automate and integrate workflows from diverse systems.
Daily interaction with other teams working towards the same goal.
Review tests and identify potential fixes.

What youll need:
Native speaker fluency in Czech, Hungarian, Croatian, Polish, Slovak, Romanian or Ukranian.
Excellent knowledge of structural aspects of the language
Up-to-date exposure to popular native culture and the ability to use that knowledge to improve the focus of your local market
Knowledge of a scripting language such as Python, Java, C or C++ or regular expressions
Understanding of Machine Learning models basics
Excellent English skills
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proven ability to manage priorities
Good organizational and analytical skills
User driven focus
An academic background in Computational Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Speech Technologies, related fields, or equivalent experience.
Whats nice to have:
Experience working with large quantities of natural language data, lexical resources, corpora, Natural Language Processing algorithms and tools
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Experience in ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) and TTS (Text to Speech)
Experience using OS X or iOS software
