Category Manager

In this position you will have the opportunity to work as a Category Manager, surrounded by a great team of Marketing professionals and in an environment that is committed to innovation and research; the Dental Research Center.

Your mission will be to be responsible for understanding the needs and motivations of the categorys stakeholders and for thinking about and implementing marketing strategies focused on positioning the category according to those motivations: differentiating it from the competition to make it the most attractive option for retain users.

What will make you succeed in the position?
Demonstrated experience in the pharma sector (OTC).
Valuable MBA in management or marketing.
Essential advanced English, valuable other languages.
More than 5-6 years of experience in Marketing, also valuable additional experience in sales.
What will your responsibilities be?
Establish the strategy of the category (and its brands) of assigned products and ensure compliance with the corresponding objectives to retain more users.
Managing the category life cycle to
Create value.
Generate long-term competitive advantages.
Provide sustained profitability over time.
Management of innovation in its categories / brands.
Monitoring of the evolution of the category (and its brands).
Promote and defend the brand internally.
Functions:

Development of global strategies by category and brand:
Category / brand life cycle management (develop, launch, mature)
Detection of consumer/professional insights about your categories or brands
Development of key elements of the category: brand books, packaging and language strategies for packaging, base promotional material and its updates & images, periodic communication campaigns.
Management of the channel strategy linked to its categories & brands
Training for countries in category and brand.
Management with suppliers and key agencies:
Management of innovation in its categories / brands.
Global launch plan.
Global development of new products and their launches
Support in the launch process in the countries.
Support in the supply, planning, manufacturing and logistics processes.
Monitoring of the evolution of the category (and its brands):
Monitoring of global positioning and pricing strategies.
Monitoring of strategies and campaigns.
Monitoring of global sales by brand, category and country.
Market monitoring and evolution of competition by category and brand.
P&L monitoring by brand and category.
Promote and defend the brand internally.
