Purpose and Objectives

Within SAP Success Delivery Centre, we are looking for an experienced Business Process Consultant with proven experience in delivering successful E2E Customer Centric projects in SAP Digital Manufacturing, SAP Manufacturing Integration & Intelligence and SAP Manufacturing Execution.

Expectations and Tasks

As a Business Process Consultant/Senior Consultant, you must possess deep product expertise/business experience and the ability to lead implementations.

You will be responsible for:

Supporting SAPs Manufacturing Industry customers with SAP Implementations in the areas of SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM), SAP Manufacturing Intelligence & Integration (MII) and SAP Manufacturing Execution (ME).

Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realisation and Go Live of customer implementation projects/ Conversion projects.

Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage blueprint workshops/meetings with internal and external clients. Help customers to adopt/evaluate the fitment of SAP Best Practices

Ability to create Process Definition Document / Design Document (PDD/BDD) and Business Process Procedure (BPP) for the solutions provided, Functional specification documents etc.,

Providing creative ideas/solutions to address customer problems/pain points.

Work on customer proposals with Bid Management Team, Sales,and Delivery Teams, create the necessary value-proposition and package the service offerings that makes it a winning deal.

Support the migration of our On-Premise MES customers to our cloud manufacturing solution via the Elevate Program

Our Engineering, Manufacturing and Services Global Manufacturing Practice is part of the S/4 Hana Hub. We, as a team, are supporting customers globally in their Digital Transformation journeys: Solving complex business challenges with cutting edge technologies and providing support in adopting future innovations in the Manufacturing solution area.

What you bring

Education and Qualifications/ Skills and Competences

Bachelors Degree preferred but not required.

Must have experience in SAP MES core areas of application configuration, BOM, Routing, Data Collection, Resource Orchestration, Shopfloor Designer, Insights and Interface to SAP ECC/S4HANA

Experience in gathering business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP MII/SAP DM configurations, writing detail specifications for development of custom programs, testing, co-ordination of transports to production and post go live support.

Knowledge of shop-floor systems, including Automation Control Systems, SCADA and Historians integration would be an advantage.

Must have a sound understanding of different Plant Landscapes, Integration Methodologies and Positioning of SAP MII and DM

Knowledge on Cloud Integration (CPI) and Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a definite plus.

Your profile

SAP Digital Manufacturing Expert skills in at least one of the following solution areas:

SAP DM

SAP ME/MII

SAP PLM

SAP PPDS. (Expectation would be that you are willing to learn Digital Manufacturing)

Minimum of 5 years of experience in one of the expertise areas mentioned above.

Practical experience in managing customers, SAP implementation projects, service deliveries and/or project management (must have participated in at least 4 end to end implementations).

Must have process knowledge from the Discreet Manufacturing and/or Process Industry

Good communication skills with a convincing and friendly appearance.

High-quality service mindset and the capability to perform well under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Generic programming Skills in ABAP / JAVA or any programming language supported by SAP BTP would be a plus.

Willing to travel within EMEA and occasionally to other global locations

Fluent in English.
