Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with Mobile network operator/OEM industry and of the app/content ecosystem.
  • Experience with market or business development.
  • Ability to speak and write in Spanish and English fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with ongoing partner relationship management.
  • Experience with international consulting.
  • Ability to serve as an executive advocate for accounts internally and work to identify opportunities or resolve issues.
  • Ability to represent Google in agreement discussions, represent partners with Google, and structure terms to achieve ongoing partner alignment.
  • Ability to interpret legal documents and work with attorneys on contract language.

The Android Platform Partnerships team at Google help partners understand the mutual benefit from making, distributing, and connecting Android-based products for users throughout the world. Central to this is the Android platform itself, provided open source at “Google scale” for free to anyone. Google Play is the official Android applications and content store hosted by Google, syncing applications and content across devices and on the Web. And Google Mobile Services bring Google to users at the right time, place, and context.

In this role, you're managing the agreements that keep driving Android's growth. You'll work with potential partnerships, lead exploratory talks with partners, and then manage the ongoing partner relationships together with cross-functional teams.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Android ecosystem in Spain and with key stakeholders such as Mobile network operators.
  • Lead all aspects of Android account management with selected mobile network operators in the region and manage product/service launch programs.
  • Build trust based relationships and manage partnerships to deliver results by becoming an expert on each target’s organization, business model, and priorities.
  • Work as an ongoing Android relationship manager for the agreements you complete and help optimize value from the partnership.
  • Work to close business agreements and collaborate with product, engineering, legal, finance, marketing, and other partner-facing teams to initiate, support, and grow your partner accounts.
