Business Controller SAB

Mission

Support the Finance Director in being in charge of the control of the business unit/area/site in Industrial Operations, guaranteeing the correct follow-up and financial support, participating in the decision-making of the area/business.

Tasks and Responsibilities
Preparation, execution, review and update of product costing for all products of the group
Key User for the master data of product costing (ORSOFT)
Support in the participation in the planning processes, Budget, Forecasting, and 5 years forecast, of the product costing process
Coordinate, support and analyze the routings, BOMs and activity drivers with the Finance team in the Budget process of product costing
Monitoring and improving the internal control processes assuring the consistence and the validation of the financial information in the area.
Financial support (Partnership) for the stakeholders creating healthy debates with the internal and/or external business partners and building a financial rigor in the discussions.
Review of product profitability in new projects or production site changes.
Improvement of reporting and analysis of main deviations in the product costing and projects of productivity increase in the area.
Elaboration of reporting, graphs, analysis etc. requested by Industrial Operations or Headquarters.
Support in the preparation of presentations to the Leadership Team or MB.
Participation in transversal corporate projects.
Improve and simplify the processes and align criteria with Corporate Finance.
The responsibility includes pharmaceutical and chemical plants for the territories of Spain and Germany.
Back up of Business Controller in tasks of product costing and Material Ledger (monthly closings).
Education

Degree in Economics, Business Administration, with interest in operations and industrial organization.

Specific Knowledge
Advanced user of SAP CO (knowledge in CO-PC and ML will be additionally evaluated), BO and office software (Master in Excel and Powerpoint).
High level of English (spoken and written).
Proactive, analytical, critical, methodical and organized.
Good communication and presentation skills
Experience
Desirable to have worked in a similar position as a Business Controller
Experience in SAP and other systems
Preferred to have experience and knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector
