Within Alizent the Returnable Assets product line is dedicated to solutions related to the performance of the supply chain, management of fleets of assets and asset traceability.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Reporting to the Returnable Assets Service Manager, Alizent is currently seeking a proactive and inventive IT/OT specialist able to provide the operational services of Packed Gas (PG) Supply Chain execution solutions.
The candidate will have to provide operational services, mainly support to industrial operations, to the PG Supply Chain solutions over their complete value chain: from Industrial Assets connection and monitoring, to optimization and performance, via custom hardware (RFID), solutions development and data management.
Assist functionally and technically users with contractual commitments of the use of solutions
Provide Level 2 support services for off-the-shelf / custom solutions or applications related with PG: Industrial Assets connection & monitoring.
Update incidents and communicate timely to the customer about progress,
Examine the cause of incidents and establish a diagnosis
Provide a temporary solution when a permanent solution is not possible
Identify possible solution (includes verifying physical layer issues, resolving username and password problems, uninstalling/reinstalling basic software applications, verification of proper hardware and software set up, and assistance with navigating around application menus)
Escalate, in a timely manner, the more complex issues to L3 support / 3rd party providers.
Participate (if required) in the 24/7 application support coverage
Provide PG Plants’ Preventive/Corrective Maintenance services for custom hardware solutions, mainly in the field of RFID and IIoT technologies such as Antennas, Plant’s Installations, Electrical systems, etc.
Define, deploy, and manage maintenance good practices and processes to ensure plants and solutions availability.
Provide proactive/preventive services to anticipate any non-desired interruption of the customers’ plant operations.
Provide RMA services for our customers
Track and control hardware Purchase Orders (POs), performing the quality control of the devices.
Manage the damaged devices from its reception to their delivery, once fixed, to our customers.
Analyze the damaged devices to identify the root cause and the means for fixing them.
Manage the RMAs with the devices’ OEMs: budget, quality control, deliveries, integration…
Carry out, implement and monitor action plans aimed at continuous improvement of the service (improve solution and customer knowledge, reduction of incidents, increase resolution ratio/s…)
Set up and monitor key activities of the solution within its ecosystem to improve the operational performance of the customer.
Propose solutions to increase the reliability and quality of the applications as well as to reduce operating and on call costs while ensuring an adequate level of security
Participate actively in the updating of application’s documentation linked to support activities
Are you a MATCH?
The candidate must possess the following:
University degree or college diploma (3 years after high school) in a field related to electronics.
Minimum of 1 years of experience in the field of electronic systems.
Proven experience, at least 1 year, working with RFID (antennas and/or chips) solutions.
Good knowledge on network architecture / configuration
Good knowledge of SQL programming (PL/SQL and TSQL).
Customer oriented.
Good communication skills.
Hungry and keen to learn with a positive attitude and can-do attitude
Sense of leadership and ability to work in a team
Good analytical skills
Willingness to be on a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Able to travel (
30% of the time) nationally and internationally
English mandatory (C1 or higher equivalent level)
Spanish mandatory (C1 or higher equivalent level)
Having the following would be great assets:
Relevant experience in testing, troubleshooting and systems support activities.
Experience in cloud hosting, maintenance and management
Familiar with AWS ecosystem
Experience in smart mobility devices; troubleshooting and management.
Experience with the Google tools (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Google+)
Experience in smart integration on mobile devices.
French oral and/or written
ITIL Certified
